Mrityunjay Foundation is a non-profit based in Sarjapur, Bangalore that offers a safe, inclusive community space for first generation K-12 learners from economically and socially challenged backgrounds to close learning gaps, improve learning outcomes, and explore their creativity.

Mrityunjay Foundation was founded by Sudha Dinakar and her husband, B Dinakar in 2019. Sudha is an ex-banker and accountant who worked at ANZ Grindlays for ten years. The birth of her second son, Mrityunjay, a child with special needs, prompted her to enter the education space. After years focussed on special education, she uncovered the learning challenges first generation learners face. She founded Mrityunjay Foundation to cater to this need.

Mrityunjay Foundation is completely bootstrapped at the moment. We have several expenses such as rent, salaries, electricity bills, furniture, books, and stationery. Even Rs 50 can help us buy a set of crayons for the children to colour with. So no amount is too small. We appreciate your help. Please donate generously by filling out the form on this page.

Yes you can. This tends to be very case specific. We have had multiple instances of children who are not allowed to enter their class room until their parents clear the fees. In such circumstances, often the child drops out of school. Your help can prevent such unfortunate events.

We are in the process of getting this exemption for you. Please bear with us.

We accept cash donations only up to Rs 2,000 due to governmental restrictions.

We support all forms of digital payments such as inter-bank transfers and UPI payments. We also support physical modes of payments such as cheques and demand drafts. In order to make a donation, please fill out the form on this page and we will get in touch with you.
